Family Music promotes body and spatial awareness through movement. Skills learned in this class include aural skills, control of impulses, promotion of sharing and community, and spatial concepts. Focused listening is emphasized, giving toddlers a headstart in preparation for later educational experiences. Rhythmic and tonal patterns build a strong foundation for internal memory and pave the way for reading music with comprehension.
Tuition: Four payments of $40 monthly
Registration: $25
A parent or caregiver will need to attend classes.
Family Music will be offered on Tuesdays at 5:15-5:45.
Music Makers at Play
For 4 and 5 year olds
45 Minutes Weekly
In our Music Makers class, we continue to tune the voice while building a repertoire of children’s songs, stories, and poems. We develop listening skills by introducing the sound of orchestral instruments both in solo and ensemble settings. Music Makers students will have numerous opportunities to practice control of gross and fine motor movements through playing instruments and active music games that will also encourage self-discipline and social skills. We will begin to introduce the symbols of music as we continue to work toward music literacy.
Tuition: Four payments of $50 monthly

Music Makers will be offered weekly on Wednesdays at 4:00-4:45.
Music Makers at the Keyboard
6- and 7-year-olds
45 Minutes Weekly
The group keyboard lessons offered in “At the Keyboard” class capitalize on your child’s joy of making music with others and allows the children to have success quickly. Your child will continue to use the skills they have learned to read music as well as being encouraged to play songs by ear. Notation games, repertoire pieces, sight-reading pieces, opportunities for composing, and more are in the materials that your child will take home each week.
